It is the mission of The Olive Branch Fund: A Thisbe and Noah Scott Legacy to promote research, awareness, and support for families of all pediatric motor neuron diseases, including Brown-Vialetto- Van Laere.
WHAT IS A MIGHTY VOICE: Fundraiser for Children’s Motor Neuron Diseases?
A Mighty Voice is a multi-city fundraiser, stretching from Jackson, Mississippi, on June 13, 2008 to Phoenix, Arizona, on November 2, 2008. Friends of the Scott family created the fundraiser as a grassroots organization solely dedicated to aiding the mission of The Olive Branch Fund.
Laurian and John Scott are meeting with some of the leading geneticists and motor neuron researchers in the world, and they all have the same agenda: curing motor neuron diseases. With the help of A Mighty Voice, The Olive Branch Fund will be able to carry out Thisbe and Noah’s legacy. As their parents, they can think of no better way to honor their children’s lives than to find a cure.
